Nestled in the charming village of Vettica Maggiore in Praiano, Southern Italy, lies the recently restored historic Villa Il Frantoio. Originally a working olive press for local villagers, this villa has been meticulously restored to preserve the essence of a bygone era.

Villa Il Frantoio features six uniquely charactered double rooms, each with an en suite bathroom and private terrace, as well as a two-bedroom apartment with kitchen facilities. All accommodations offer breathtaking views of the shimmering Mediterranean, picturesque Positano, and the legendary Capri. From your window, you can almost touch Homer’s famed isle of the Sirens (Sirenuse). Dating back to the 17th century, the villa's architecture retains its romantic and dramatic details. The private and common-space terraces are distinguished by dramatic high arches, and the sleeping chambers boast domed roofs, reflecting the authentic style of the region. The original stone wheel and press have been preserved as a tasteful centerpiece in our grand suite.
